On prayer

What’s the point of fucking praying in the first place?  If God has a divine plan, what’s the point of praying?  If what you want is in the divine plan, you will get it anyways… and if it’s not, you won’t get it because it’s not in the divine plan.

I know it might not be very ‘wise’ to comment in such way … but I just have to say it; power of prayer is in hope, because the origin of faith is not in logic, or science or any kind of evidence at all … it is in deeply rooted need to believe in something outside of one self … I do not subscribe to any organize religion, hold science in the highest regard, and believe in humanity … and because of that I also respect peoples need for faith and prayer … as long as there is no harm to others who have either different system of believes or no system at all.
    Kind Regards,

Daniela, you are right that we must allow those who have faith to continue to hold and pray all they want and I don’t intend to stop them except to point out that prayer achieves nothing other than a false hope that something will happen.
You can comment in any way, there is no correct way 🙂
