I’m not sure I understand the question. Isn’t divine hiddenness an argument against god as there is evil?

Could god have chosen to hide himself and his intentions from us in allowing evil to occur?

“Chosen” ? If it chose to then it deserves to be tried and executed at the earliest possible convenience.
If a god is capable of stopping evil, but doesn’t, then that makes this god evil in and by itself.

There are those theists who argue that god could choose not to stop a given occurrence of evil to occur since doing so would prevent the acquisition of a greater good in future, a good we may not be aware of.

And those people would be fools indeed to grant such a monster a pass.

They may say that since god’s knowledge, if they exist, could be far way above ours, they would know something we don’t and thus allowing some evil to occur would guarantee some good for us in the future. What say you?

any ‘guarantee’ would require a contract; an unambiguous contract. I still it’d be cause to bait your time then kill this god for the sake of future generations.

What if this god knows this particular evil will benefit many people than would otherwise be got by preventing the particular evil? Are you willing to cut it some slack?

Of course not. If am not to partake in the good then it is pointless and cruel to make me suffer and this applies to making a small child suffer for a greater good not known to anyone but the supposed god only.

I agree, sentence is hereby passed that a god who allows suffering for his children in the name of securing a greater good should be killed for the love of mankind.
Sentenced being passed, we now need to find an executioner or should we ask the supposed god to hang himself and save us the trouble of looking for a hangman big enough?

I really do not know of God chose to hide himself for some reason or another… I am in the hotel, bored and I was watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHYOkCmEjFA and couldn’t withstand the last two minutes, I was crying like a baby. Where is God? Is it the moment people need him if he really exists but nevertheless his silence continues which makes me conclude that either he is evil and doesn’t give a damn shit about these kids or he simply doesn’t exist.
The reason of this war by the way is purely religious and God is the ultimate responsible for it. If he really exists then he could have done a global appearance to everyone on this planet ending all the religious conflicts and misunderstanding, but again, either he doesn’t give a fuck or he doesn’t exist. In either ways, he is of no use to the human race

Haha. Then we can all agree this divine whatever does not exist and even if it does, we are under no obligations to worship it. If anything we are to be afraid for our lives for this would be a cruel and sadistic fiend!
