Folks, I guess some of my readers are christian and I have good news for them. I hear they believe in the traditional marriage [I don’t know what that is] and now a christian group has come up with what I don’t know where to classify. It can qualify as soft porn or domestic violence depending on where you stand on this matters. It is called Christian Domestic Discipline and their statement of objectives, if we can call it that reads

Domestic discpiline is not necessarily a “christian”, I once found on a blog or forum a statement of a woman who claimed she and her husband practices DD while the were “devout atheists” (sic). According to spankingart.org:

Interesting, I get to learn new things ever so often. Up till now I didn’t think there are couples who would consider this a part of relationship agreement especially as a way to exact discipline on an errant partner! But as they say, each person his/her own.

Well it starts with men are the heads of the family, and they believe in traditional marriage, am not sure that leaves room for women to do the disciplining but I could be wrong

At least what they call “traditional” marriage, since different cultures have different marital traditions. And some of those other traditions are quite matriarchal.

It depends on taste and lifestyle. As someone who lives the D/s lifestyle the physical aspect keeps the romance alive. The difference between a Christian couple who does this, and my husband and I. Is that a Christian woman may not necessarily, want to experience such things, but she may do it just because it is accepted in her religious community. If a woman, is not into it, it can become hell for her. However, if its done through consent and love; both parties may experience the benefits of such a lifestyle. Many women love being submissive to their men, however, it has become a non-politically correct truth to admit.

If someone chooses to be submissive, each person his/her own, but, I wouldn’t support a situation where one dominates another for whatever reason unless it is consensual.

I just stumbled across this post, and am rather gobsmacked by that CDD website. This doesn’t sound like BDSM fun and games….it sounds like men being given permission to hit their wives, by the authority of God. I suppose it’s been practiced since the beginning of christianity, so maybe it’s just shocking for me to see it all written out with scriptural references attached. GOD IS LOVE though, right? I guess that means it’s ok to beat your wife for her own good.
I find it all very disturbing. I’m certain there’s no permission given for a christian woman to beat her husband (which would also be disturbing).

Vi, that would be asking the christian too much. Their god does not allow the wife to talk in the presence of a man, how would she be allowed to beat her? She must submit even if it takes her to the grave, submit submit!
