Knowing the mind of god

Am not in the mood to write today. Am both tired and lazy but I think the author of this post must be omniscient. He tells us his god created the universe so that no robot is heaven and no victim in hell! WTF! What a torturous route this omnipotent and omniscient god employs to achieve his means. I wouldn’t do that even with my limited powers.

No robots in heaven, no victims in hell

  1. I suspect he’s confused, it should be no victims in heaven, no robots in hell. Robots could ostensibly loll about heaven all day for eternity, praising god, whereas humans, as Twain put it in his, Letters From the Earth, can barely tolerate an hour of “church” per week, while heaven is church that lasts forever.

However in hell, robots melt, greatly diminishing their usefulness.

Yet, according to the scriptures no such option is available. They report that hell is a permanent residence regardless of how penitent its captives become.

It is not my thought; we believe it on the basis of Quran/Islam/Muhammad.

          Please read the following Q&A:

Q How long will a person remain in Heaven or Hell?

          A Paradise is ever lasting.

Hell is like a hospital where patients are kept for a limited time to be cured of their spiritual ailments. They would be transferred to Heaven after having been cured of their spiritual diseases. Hell is thus for a limited period of time.

According to the following, Islamic hell is permanent for non-believers:

“Those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- on them is Allah.s curse, and the curse of angels, and of all mankind; They will abide therein: Their penalty will not be lightened, nor will respite be their (lot). (2:161-162)

            And this Islamic consultant agrees:

In another part of the Qur’an, we read:

*{Certainly, Allah has cursed the unbelievers and prepared for them a blazing fire to dwell therein forever, they shall find neither protector nor helper. On the day when their faces are turned about in the fire, they shall say, “Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!”}* (Al-Ahzab 33: 64-66)

There are other descriptions of Hell that are graphically horrific. Muslims believe that some people will be sent to Hell for all eternity, because we are told so in either the Qur’an or in the sayings of the Prophet (peace be upon him). They will never leave. Some of these people are actually mentioned by name.

Doesn’t sound like a hospital to me.

To understand a verse correctly; one should read it together with the verses in the context:

[2:160] Those who conceal what We have sent down of Signs and guidance after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, it is these whom Allah curses; and so curse them those who curse.
[2:161] But they who repent and amend and openly declare the truth, it is these to whom I turn with forgiveness, and I am Oft-Returning with compassion and Merciful.
[2:162] Those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, on them shall be the curse of Allah and of angels and of men all together.
[2:163] They shall remain under it. The punishment shall not be lightened for them, nor shall they be granted respite.
[2:164] And your God is One God; there is no God but He, the Gracious, the Merciful.

              http://www.alislam.org/quran/search2/showChapter.php?submitCh=Read+from+verse%3A&ch=2&verse=160

Please see the sentence [2:160] “We have made it clear for the people in the Book”; the verse is not in general for the non-believers; it is specific here for the people of the book or the Jews and Christians (called people of the book in Quran); so it is not for the Atheists here.

              Hope that helps.

              Thanks

              Paarsurrey:

Here again you have understood the verse incorrectly; the non-believers in general have not been addressed. The Jews and other non-Muslims in Medina who were under a treaty with the Muslims not to have any links with the Meccans as they were under war with the Muslims; they were addressed in these verses specifically.

[33:61] If the hypocrites, and those in whose heart is a disease, and those who cause agitation in the city, desist not, We shall surely give thee authority over them; then they will not dwell therein as thy neighbours, save for a little while.
[33:62] Then they will be accursed. Wherever they are found, they will be seized, and cut into pieces.
[33:63] Such has been the way of Allah in the case of those who passed away before, and thou wilt never find a change in the way of Allah.
[33:64] Men ask thee concerning the Hour. Say, ‘The knowledge of it is with Allah alone.’ And what will make thee know that the Hour may be nigh?
[33:65] Allah has surely cursed the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a burning fire,

              http://www.alislam.org/quran/search2/showChapter.php?ch=33&verse=62

Those who did not accept Islam/Quran/Muhammad with logical reasons; they are not addressed in these verses.

Hope the verses are now clear to you

Because he believes blindly everything he is told about his religion – he likely hasn’t had a real thought that was truly his own, in his lifetime, he only thinks what he has been told to think. It’s about fear – he believes in a god that he fears, and he lives on the edge of doing or saying something wrong.

    Answers:
    1. The concept of Heaven and the Hell came into exist when the One-True-God willed to create man.
    2. The concept of Junnah (or heaven) came into existence to reward those who do good deed; and hell is its opposite pole.
    3. These are spiritual concepts ( not material) and hence don’t require any place in the Universe.

So it’s an invisible place, created by an invisible god – tell me, Paarsurrey, do you eat invisible food, or do you insist on seeing it?

And what does ANY of that have to do with proving that there is no other god but allah? That’s your only job. Your allah is going to be SO disappointed in you, that you can’t defend him better than to continually change the subject!

Do you also mean to say here that from the very first moment, there was a plan to send some people to hell?
