Not good for the chickens but at least he didn’t die by poison. We did try the most humane way we could think of. Still tough. Vicious little rat though. Not so little either. They can be evil.

I have seen some big scary rats. I try not to kill them as long as they are far from my clothes. They can be annoying.

I read about this recently. Rats regret their decisions. Kind of of like atheists regret every time we try to have a sensible discussion with a fundie. Why, oh why, do we even try.

Quite interesting, but I’m not surprised. Let’s see — we know that rodents show regret over bad decisions and they also have empathy; show altruism — and yet — they worship no god or read holy books.
