God has been photographed

But the photos are invisible!

This morning my brother informed me of the Nigerian man hospitalized for his atheism[ see previous post] then I find this post of a nun who claimed to have photographed god. The only reassuring thing about the whole episode is those close to her didn’t believe her.

Hear what she tells us

I was revealing what God had told me and they didn’t believe but these are the real words from God, ‘Listen to me I am above this earth, I have allowed you and you alone to photograph me for them to know the truth’. I managed to photograph Him but what surprised me is that when I took the full image, it came out a passport size picture of the image of Christ because he did not want people to know what he looks like

I am willing to buy them drinks if they can only share with me these photos.

I don’t know about you, but I am calling this bull

There was also another miracle where a photographer in Uganda attempted to take a picture of the sister while attending a seminar there but when he produced the film, the picture of Mary the mother of Jesus appeared in the background holding the holy sacrament. All these pictures are available at the Cathedral church in Eldoret.

I am not aware of anyone who has an inkling of what Mary, if she lived, looked like. How do people believe such bs? And now they think she should be made a saint.

Just as with the Jesus story where there is no father, no body so it is with the camera and photos in this case. We are told

The lady had shown us several wonderful miracles, which I as a bishop have never seen in my life. Even the cameras she used to photograph the alleged Lord were later blown up after she finished taking the pictures. We did not believe and bought a new one. Surprisingly it was also damaged, according to the technician who attended both of them

and this bullcrap is voiced by the bishop! Not that I hold the bishop or any church person in high regard, but what this means is most of the lay people will just buy this crap. It has come from the bishop and so it must be true.

So there are pictures of god, we aren’t allow to see? And how does one know for certain to have spoken with god, and not with some impostor like the devil?

Photographs of a deity that no one can see? Exploding cameras? How does this person who styles himself as bishop know these are real and not altered? It’s the same old false scheme to deprive the poor of their meager resources. I hope you are well, my friend. Much love and naked hugs! 🙂

He is a bishop of the catholic church and they saw miracles. This deity does not want to be seen to the extent that he makes cameras explode.

I have the power of invisibility… But it only works when no one is looking 😉

  7. Just sad. How desperate people are to convince others that they are right that they stoop to such nonsense and lies.

There was a character in the Mystery Men movie/comic book called Invisible Boy who’s power was indeed being invisible but only when no one was looking. It seems that this god has the same “super-power”.

When I was a kid, there was a picture being passed around my church of a cloud formation that looked like Jesus. No surprise, everyone thought is was a bona fide miracle.

  9. I saw god once during an inebriated romantic interlude. But, it was over in a flash and I didn’t have my camera handy. Come to think of it, that was probably fortuitous because the camera would’ve been slammed upside my head had I tried to use it. Damn, getting evidence of god is SO HARD!!!

I think I’m more impressed with the discussion comments that follow. Accusations of blasphemy, idolatry, catholic oppression, and this gem:

I’m always amazed how many pseudo scientists pop up in social media discounting Biblical miracles or miracles. Witnessed/performed thru/by/among Christians….we have always had these doubters since Moses stood before Pharaoh and perforned the first miracle…infact we have a whole scholastic “arny” some in our higher learning institutions who have made careers out of trying to explain away God’s miracles among His pple

Guess he’s never read the following:

“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” 1 Thes 5:211

I just went through the comments on that post. I didn’t realize how interesting the battle for true christian was getting. One of them had an issue with Mo and writes

@Shmanzar….”Mohammed was a true prophet…”…….hahhhhhhhhhhhh. I love reading from muslims….it us actually sorry ti see how determined they are in this path to nowhere….if there any tribal “prophet” it is Mohammed…just reading the Koran shows how it was a concoction by an Ishmailite to usurp Isaac choice by Jehovah as the one thru whom God’s will was to be fulfilled. The story if Jesus from birth to burial…encompasses pple of all pples….His Great commission assignement for His followers is universe…He liveth, seated at the Righth hand of the Father…and will be judging even Mohammed in the end….HOW ABOUT THAT?

except I didn’t see the comment by the Musulman.

Looks like ShManzar’s comment went to that great bit bucket in the sky. And since they use Disqus there’s no webcache to see what he wrote. That’s another thing I love about Christian websites: when the feedback becomes uncomfortable, they start removing comments—or even entire threads (like that guy you linked to a few weeks ago).

Shows they don’t even have faith as small as a mustard seed.

Funny this is a newspaper with a national circulation. One wonders why they would favour only one point of view.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Wikipedia shows Kenya’s religious demographic trends heavily towards Christianity, so presumably the Standard Group caters mostly to that audience. And a quick look through the “spiritual” and “faith” sections reveals quotes from the Bible and stories about Christians. ShManzar’s were probably flagged for being inflammatory so the paper removed them to appease its largest market share—a purely business-related consideration. Then again, I could be totally wrong. 🙂

You are right. In the last census, they reported the country’s population is composed of 80-85% christian.
It goes without saying their market is mainly religious and christian.

  13. god works in mysterious ways – he wants a photo but makes the camera explodes, appears in fuzzy cloiud formations, on pieces of toast, on the bottom of teacups – actually its not usually god but Jesus that does this – sometimes the Virgin Mary, – generally only to one person at a time, always in a slightly blurred or vague way – you’d think a deity and his entourage could put out a clearer message and stop all this tom foolery. Recently apparently , he buried unbelievably large bones to look really really old helping to prove evolution purely as a joke to test ones faith….

the problem really is with the god believers. they are not able to put their act together. They make absurd claim after absurd claim that it makes it so easy to ridicule and show them that it is pure madness.
you would wonder how a person would think they have seen god and taken photos when the book they all pretend to follow has this god saying no one has seen me and lived, well apart from the time he showed Moses his ass if you can count that seeing.
