That’s one of the things I miss about living by the seashore. Where I live now, the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, I no longer see those stunning sunsets on the horizon. Where were these taken?

I was in the lakeside city of Kisumu.

Thanks for the photo collection, my Nairobi brother! The scenes are very tranquil and calming. It’s a shame the rest of our world isn’t this way. A mid-week holiday?
Much love and naked hugs! 🙂 Can you send some of this tropical weather to North America, please? 😉

Lovely shots Mak. Somehow, seeing such natural beauty brings things into perspective sometimes. Just like the sun, we will be here and then gone. Unlike the sun, one day we will no longer rise in the morning. The world is greater than us.

Oh yes. We are here for a short duration and then no more.

Yes, we sat there just waiting to see the sunset. You would think it was the first time we saw one 😛

We are having regular rounds of power outages again. Eskom cuts us off as-and-when it feels like.
Apparently, we are on the verge of a ‘crisis’, so I heard, but I do not read newspapers so I cannot say what is actually going on.
We had no power for 4 hours yesterday and 3 hours this morning.
This will probably go on throughput December.
Happily, it rained like mad this afternoon. First heavy downpour of the season. Was wonderful!

I thought you guys down south have sorted power issues. We occasionally have blackouts sometimes lasting a whole day. They say demand is greater than supply.
It’s been raining here too and with it comes crazy traffic jams.
