How would one explain police using teargas on primary school children?
I will be honest, I hate cops. In my books they are at the lowest level of scam with politicians, prison warders and thieves. They exist to protect the property of the rich. They follow orders like oxen driving an ox plough. In this country, cops are some of the lowly paid civil servants and are the first to obstruct any attempts to challenge the government. One wonders whether between their ears there is any brain left. It is impossible to reason with a cop, no matter how hard you try.
Do people have conscience? Where is this greed going to end? Who in his right mind grabs a school play ground? This is a person whose child goes to an international school, flop their exams are exported to go study abroad and come here to land a government job where they continue to steal. Am honestly tired of these fucks!
Some spin doctor will say they students were used by activists or their parents. That doesn’t justify using teargas on them. The thing in question is why grab a school field?

Appalling behaviour. If they’re willing to inflict harm on children then they are willing to cast aside all notion of human decency.

Am not sure that is one of the considerations of the Kenya Police. Human decency is a word that doesn’t exist in their vocabulary

Wow. What a despicable action. Poor kids. There seems to be a lot brewing in Kenya.

Completely shocking and inexcusable. Am I correct in that this was about a hotel chain, Weston Hotels to be specific, wanting the playground to be used as a parking lot?

Yes, you are correct.

I only leaned about this AFTER reading your post and then googling it. There was no mention of it in my morning news. The world needs to know of what extremes Weston Hotels is willing to go in order to park a few cars. It’s also my understanding that there is a law requiring that all schools provide a playground, so now the school is facing the possibility of being closed entirely. These children, and their parents, are incredibly brave for standing up against this.

Un-fucking-real! This world is a play ground for the rich and affluent. The rest of us, kids included, are just bugs that sometimes they use and often just get in their way. how awful.

what i find annoying is that some officers in the same government have the audacity to tell us that the land belongs to the school, the same government that teargassed the children

shot kids of less than 14yrs? I think Nbi would be on fire

Our cops would shoot BLACK kids less than 14 in a friggin’ second, and, nothing would happen to them for doing it. Oh, people would wail about how awful it was and all; there MIGHT even be a trial of some sort, but, in the end, nothing will happen. God bless the USA. Though, Kenya seems just as fucked up, if you don’t mind me sayin’.

So very fucked up and simply because the majority are idjits.
People think along tribal lines regardless of the situation. It is depressing to think that most of them paid fees to go to school.
And I will say again, I find cops to be among the scumbags of society

That seems to be a fairly universal truth.

It’s a cliche, but I can’t help but ask … what is this world coming to?
People in authority (government included) are so caught up in themselves and who they think they are that they can’t see the forest for the trees. In other words, “I AM THE BIGSHOT so don’t tell me what to do or how to do it.”
I feel anger and frustration, but sadness at the same time because we, the average citizens, are the ones getting the shaft. IF ONLY we would band together and say ENOUGH!
LikeLike
In our case, it is hard to get people to band together to say enough is enough. They will defer to their tribal conclaves and say they are being persecuted despite evidence that these bastards have ripped them off. It is sad if you think of it.

In your country, it’s the tribes. In ours, it’s apathy.
