A bit hard to watch right after having breakfast. ๐ฆ I did fast forward to the suggested passage.

I’d say I agree with that statement. Haven’t time to watch the whole movie right now, but that phrase out of it I agree with.

The whole movie is an epic poem. I think one of the longest ever.

I’ll definitely watch it. I vaguely recall the title as that of an epic poem, now that you mention it.

That is the first part should have a lot of time in your hands. I know it is better than listening to Republicans effing with your systems

It would be helpful if our Christian/Muslim friends watched this.

Well, they’d just say whatever meaning you’re getting out of it is the wrong meaning because you’re simply not watching it “right.” A new form of apologetics would arise, and WLC would spin more of his shit and apply it to this movie. You can’t get ahead with idiots. Reading the xtian commentators on your bolg, John, has convinced of that now more than ever. Idjits.

Beautiful, actually. Empty, but very entertaining. Must take A LOT of effort to spin like that.

I agree. It took me a minute to realize, that with all his fancy foot work, everything he was saying is simply masturbatory, meaningless tripe designed to side step your original question. He is good. I’ll give him that. As meaningful as a fart, but the cheese he spreads to produce it is colorful. Gotta give ’em that. ๐

Regarding the idea that “no good man is entirely good and no bad man is entirely bad” I think we tend to identify people exactly this way. For example, I was listening to a judge talk about having to work hard to remind himself that people who have committed a crime means only a part of their identity can be considered ‘criminal’. Identifying the whole person with such a term he thought was the central problem impeding rehabilitation and promoting recidivism. I think we all tend to do this and maybe need reminding once in a while why we should be a bit more careful.

There is nothing to add to your comment. I agree fully

Great message. It is a person’s actions which should be critiqued, not their humanity.

Yes. We should be reminded of this a little more frequently
