Any dog!
What do believers think about atheists? Maybe I should ask myself where I get this blogs by theists that leave me cussing half the night!
In dear active atheist, the author a Paulite has the audacity to tell us at the end of his post
The visible difference here is that I offer you eternal life in Christ Jesus. The only thing you have to offer is a hopeless useless existence and then, “Poof“! You die and fade away. Christ is very willing to extend eternal life and notoriety to you right now!
and why? Because he feels that at the end of the day, you and I who blog about atheism or active in humanism will not reach a big group and will soon be forgotten.
At the end of the day, I don’t care really whether the world remembers me or not. I will be dead. But if I make it possible for one single person to live a life free of superstition and fear of ghosts, celestial or otherwise, I will have done well with my time.
Note to self: It is better to watch the sun set than to read some theists.
And the dog thought… If not for that damn dialectic they’d all be worshiping me.
You do know worship is not staying in bed yelling OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD! Next time get it right OH DOG! OH DOG! OH DOG!

I hear, they have revised it to Oh Darwin! Oh Darwin! Could this mean they understand evolution?

Take heart my furry friend. The sunset is far more worthy of your time and effort than some moron methinks. Have a quote to lean against a while, *smiles* –
“Outside of a dog, a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.” – Groucho Marx

Dear active theist,
The visible difference here is that we offer you truth in the real world. The only thing you have to offer is a delusional fantasy which feeds your irrational fear of death. We are very willing to extend an open hand in the hope that you’ll wake up from your oppressive religious nightmare right now!

And that, sir, is why you need a dog! It’s the perfect excuse to go for a long walk at sunset… and they can never miss a sky show 🙂

Believing in a creator god can inspire the human animal to themselves create sublime music and art; it can also provide great emotional solace too; this much is indisputable OM. Yet the whole rests upon a chimera, a coruscating yet fugacious phantasm of the imagination that haunts its own creator and demands of them subservience and loyalty in perpetuity. It rather sounds as though this ghost is in need of a dog does it not?

I wouldn’t deny that belief in deities has inspired some humans to do great things.
And I also think this ghost needs two dogs, not one

Jesus. Fucking. Christ. Mak, you have a knack for finding the most obnoxious theists in all the world. If there ever was a god, I hope he damns people like that to hell (god knows they’ve damned me enough). I’d argue more, but the swear words are backing up in the queue over such revolting stupidity.

Vi, you can cuss all you want here. It is an adult blog and I am sure my grandmother doesn’t read it.

“Christ is very willing to extend eternal life and notoriety to you right now!” As any true Muslim can tell you, this is a total crock of shit: “The only true faith in God’s sight is Islam.” (Surah 3:19)
Why can’t the christian blasphemers get this through their dense, infidel heads? Are they THAT stupid as to not see there is but One God, Allah? Maybe when they die and are roasting in the eternal flames of hell, they’ll understand the horrific blasphemy they’ve committed against Allah, the only God there is.

I shared that because the freedom you have is not what you think it is.
As for watching a sunset being better than reading some theist’s web page, there are thousands of times I would agree with that.

So, lemme get this straight. The one thing they have to offer is a delusion they have no proof of whatsoever?
Count me in on the sunsets. I love looking up. There is beauty enough in the clouds and among the stars to keep one humble for a thousand lifetimes. No prostrating before a non existant deity required.

My dog insists I worship her; she acts as if I were created just to pamper her. And she may well be right – If we are to have a purpose in life, perhaps this is it. Perhaps the great Dog in the sky created all this just so humans could pamper dogs. The key would be in the legendary lost Book of Snoopy that the Church suppressed long ago….

You could be on to something…
The great sky dog wanted us to worship dogs. We clean their poop, serve them food and do everything in our power, if we are not psycho, to ensure they are well

What a strange article you found. Followed to its logical conclusion, he doesn’t think much of most of the people who have ever lived. Were the lives of all the obscure people in ancient Egypt worth nothing? I’m sure it didn’t seem that way to them and their close friends and relations.
As far as the sunset goes, I’ll go mix a Mai Tai and get ready right now.
That reminds me of a time I was taking a trip with a friend to Mexico. We got to the airport only to find our flight had been cancelled. My friend looked about to cry. She said, “I’ve been working so hard and so stressed out. I needed a vacation so badly.” The woman at the desk started typing furiously, “Don’t worry, girls! I’m booking you on another flight. You’ll be on the beach drinking Margaritas by sunset.”

I’ve been entertaining myself with this one. It’s always great to see that they have nothing better than “but… but… you can’t show my imaginary friend doesn’t exist” as their best argument for their god. So much for his offer of eternal life.

These fellows are interesting. They seem to me to never think their arguments border on the absurd

One thing puzzles me.
If God was mad at Pharaoh why didn’t he just kill Pharaoh? Instead he killed the first born child? Doesn’t seem loving to me when he could have killed Pharaoh and if the next proved as stupid kill him/her too and so on until he got what he wanted?
Maybe he could have simply appeared as a burning Sphinx and told him what he wanted him to do? Maybe a burn cat since they loved cats?
Or he could have struck Pharaoh dead, took him up to heaven adn said see, see my power you are nothing now obey me. Then put him back and resurrected him?
Infanticide doesn’t seem very nice to me.

You know Michelle I agree with all you say.
It is inconceivable that every Egyptian was a slave driver, even their house maidens, and as such killing every first born cannot anywhere describe all loving
