I agree. Also, it’s nice to have a lot of babes.

depends on how you treat the babes, life can be a terror if they are treated badly

🙂 No babies unless they are kittens or puppies for me thanks. Human children babies are….. for other people. How ever I do love my cats and dogs like they are my kids and they give me less headaches than the boy we took in who wanted to be our son. But we still love him. But I have to admit I give the cats treats, he at 24 can get his own food. 🙂 Hugs

Crap, just realized you said babes, not babies. Sorry I retract my entire comment. But could you send a babe to my son’s way, he is having trouble in that area. Maybe she / he could take him home and we get his room back ????? Hugs

My contribution (I’m not the author) to happiness are these two good-looking glances:
– I wish you would look at me the way I’m looking at that chocolate cake.
– A girl fully dressed who looks at you like a girl fully undressed.

As long as “choice of one’s occupation” includes the choice of no occupation, I’m in.

Here’s the challenge:
In the new era of ever smarter machines, vast numbers of human beings willing and eager to undercut you in your prices, the gig economy, etc….is Freedom of Occupation meaningful anymore? How many traditional jobs are going to be “swept away” by piecework (the vaunted Gig Economy), automation, and, for westerners, off-shoring?
This may be a First World Problem, but middle class union wages for industrial work will not be coming back. There will be a few stars, and an awful lot of desperate “surplus population”.
We need to move away from self-definition through career or job or profession. Not sure how we will do that.

I think this is a big problem not only in the first world. When a company fires 100 people and replace them with a single machine, what happens to the people who depended on him/her?
