Actually this is quite old news. That Hawking was (probably) wrong on his thesis that black holes destroy information, has been known for years among physicists. (I have recently read quite some articles on black holes and the destruction of information.)

I just saw it. Plus you know I don’t read much of that black hole business. I don’t even know enough of other holes to concentrate on black ones

Ah, well if we are to accept that this 3-D universe is the result of a 4-D star collapsing into a black hole, then we could be onto somehting….

I had been unaware of soft particles. Interesting. Also matter and anti matter blow my mind.
