Having a conscience may yet prove a necessarily heroic act in Trumpworld.

I think heroes are people who do extraordinary things in extraordinary circumstances, putting their own lives in jeopardy to help another.

That can cover a lot of ground.

I saw a video of a guy who went under to get a woman out of a sinking car in flood waters. He got her out fine, then the woman complained about her dog still in the car. The guy went back and got the damn dog.

That was a case of being a hero and an idjit within moments.

  4. Hero is a social construct historically designed to manipulate a certain sector in society into taking on jobs that would normally be rejected. Soldiers, for example, are automatic heroes.

Here is a post I wrote about the subject of heroes in case anyone is interested.

    Hero Worship

Personally I think a hero is someone who risks personal gain for the benefit of others while causing the least amount of harm along the way to achieve that goal.

Isn’t that something, Mak? There you are, on your side of the world, discussing heroes and here I am on another side, having just taught a lesson using political cartoons – on heroes. 🙂
