    Something I continue to observe is tRumpers are very good at criticizing and castigating Obama, but rarely write about the virtues of their Mighty Leader. Wonder why that is?

    Yes, the problem is obviously on your end.
    You are probably putting the wrong term into Google translate.
    Try English to “Dipshit Redneck” (I’m betting that you can get the same result with “trump voter”, but I haven’t tried it yet).
    Those words translate to “Black Person”, “Smarty Pants”, and “Everything I Fear” or “the sound a sniveling coward makes when the situation makes wailing like a startled child an inappropriate expression of one’s emotional state”.
    Their language mostly translates to non-cognitive descriptions like the last one.

    As a Canadian, I think Mr. & Mrs. Obama have both been respectable, respectful, & scandal free, in all things, public or personal.
    That alone should have earned them respect in return.
    Personally, I’m going to miss them!

      Not very well. Obama was, sad to say, another neoliberal servant to The Owners. The citizens of Libya, Syria, and Yemen are certainly less respectful than we are being here.

      Of course, his opponents are worse.. . Verging on the certifiably insane. And Trump’s collection of Swamp Lizards will do nothing but pillage the world. But remember, it is Obama who solidified the new infrastructure of drone killings, warrantless spying, corporate friendly “trade” policy and endless war that Trump will inherit and expand.

      Even as he gives nice, warm, calm speeches.

    I can not understand how these people can use these labels and come to these erroneous conclusions. Nothing seems to make a dent in their incorrect ideas. People far clearer and smarter than I have corrected them, explained why they are wrong , why what they claim is not true, and they simply won’t accept it. I have tried to bring up the years President Obama spent in a Christian congregation and how the right demanded he denounce the preacher for his views to show he was not a Muslim. I have pointed out he can’t be a Muslim because he drinks openly and on camera. They were shown a birth certificate and still won’t believe what they see. I think it comes down to they want very badly to believe these lies and falsehoods at any cost. They need to for some reason. Is it racism? These same people gave passes to the white presidents who did the same things only more of each of them while they were screaming hysterically about Pres. Obama and his family doing them. These people did not complain about Reagan’s vacations, they did not complain about Bush using executive orders. These people have never once demanded a white president prove he was born in the state all the evidence clearly shows is true. Only the Black president was hounded to produce a birth certificate that they then ignored. Hugs

        I agree. I normally do that with people who will not accept being reasoned with. We have some fundamentalist we all know that are that way. Say ColorStorm, Bruce, and S.o.M.. But with the situation of the current peotus and his supporters, I just feel it is far too serious not to take them seriously and try to reason with them as best I can. Yet instead of showing them their error, I am the one that ends up frustrated and upset. 🙂 Oh well. Thanks. Hugs

            Thanks, but I have stopped replying or even reading all three. I asked each of them to engage me reasonably and answer one question. All three couldn’t or wouldn’t do so. Bruce refuses to even read of view anything not affirming his religious views and always tries to advanglise no matter what is talked about or asked. ColorStorm jsut spouts silly nonsense and talks in circles, and S.o.M. is an insulting toll who simply wants to upset people and insult them to feel good about himself. I won’t give any of them the satisfaction of feeding their deluded and arrogant needs. I like your solution. I think I will do my best to do it, ignore and laugh at them. Be well. Hugs

        I like this. Laugh at them. Laugh as they burble that Trump appointed to his advisors the very bank gambling fraudster who foreclosed on their homes. Laugh as they lose healthcare. When you deliberately choose delusion, what other reaction can you expect? Better people than I are kinder.

        This laugh is a rueful one, of course. And I am not sure what it will do.

          When I meet a fellow who believes that the soon to be former president is a Kenyan Muslim atheist, I laugh at him. That is unhinged person.
          If I meet a person who says the soon to be ex-president didn’t do much to close Guantamo bay, I listen to him. We can have a conversation.
          If I meet a fellow who say the soon to be former president was prematurely awarded the Nobel for peace, I listen to her, they likely have a point.
          No, I don’t laugh as people lose healthcare unless they voted for tRump, then all I can say is they brought it on themselves and the only thing to be done is to laugh at them.

    I agree with Carmen. I liked Nan’s comments and Shelldigger’s. Again just the answers the guy gave to the comments asked showed he wouldn’t listen nor reason on anything slightly out of his already determined notions. I get too frustrated any more to deal with these types of people. Hugs

    Obama has done so many (truly) terrible things* I have no idea why the RWNJs need to invent such vast structures of conspiracy and craziness.

    I am not a fan of the man, who just implements the long term objectives of the neocon/neoliberal agenda. But Jeez. these nuts bring on the crazy.

    *I’ll mention three things:
    1. No consequences for the financial collapse
    2. Libya

    My Kenyan brother, thanks for sharing the stupidity of this idiot. I’m sure that he voted for the likes of Donald Dump in this last election, although how he knew who to vote for is beyond me, Federal law doesn’t allow graphics on the voting ballot. Naked hugs!
