Friends, in a first one for Africa and many places around the world, the sham presidential election that was contested at the Supreme Court of Kenya has been nullified.
I wish to take this opportunity to tell John Kerry, EU Observer mission, Carter Center and all observers who endorsed this sham, FUCK YOU.
Here is the court ruling.
Mr Kerry, you were saying…?

Kerry and Bob Godec, and others representing American Govt’s interests, I want to know what they were saying.

I saw this on the news and was looking for your original article, lo and behold you saved me the trouble. I hope this next election goes better for you, my friend.

We will see what happens in the next 59 days.
It’s quite a historic moment, I must admit. Many of us were resigned to the idea the court will rule in favour of the government.

We are overjoyed.
They can win the next election and we will still be happy because the system will have to be transparent

Voters tend to be happy when their party – or sympathy – wins. As a matter of fact, all inhabitants should feel like that because the three branches of government are supposed to cross-control themselves. At least, that is what I learned, many years ago. Here and there, it still seems valid today…

The new election and whoever conducts it have a hard job. We are hard to please

Yes, there is hope and a historic one, too! Congratulations to Kenya for upholding the democratic principles! Have a great weekend! Naked hugs!

A very pleasant one at that. It’s unbelievable

Perhaps this will deliver an important and equally historic message to both the electorate and the politicians that changes are underway and that the habits of the past should be forgotten before even more radical methods of dealing with unfair practices are undertaken.

The effects will be felt far and wide.
I honestly don’t know what will happen in the next 60 days.

The sky is the limit.
We need to challenge the elections at the lower levels till we are satisfied the election represented our will

Just got the news on my BBC app! That is the best news to open the phone to. You must be thrilled with this surprising court result.

Oh yes, thrilled will be an understatement

Do you know what they’re going to do to ensure the elections are actually open and transparent? Also, is there any worry that the government will ignore the court’s order?

What they should do is in the election act and regulations.
The govermit can’t ignore the court order without causing chaos. There would be no country to govern.

The Finnish senior researcher Sirkku Hellsten, from the Swedish university of Uppsala Nordic Africa research center said already, that the international observers were too hasty to declare the vote legal. She also said, that the historical descision by the Kenyan supreme court shows a justice state at work. She has lived in Kenya for many years.
What happens now?

Honestly, unfamiliar territory.
The Constitution states the election should be held in 60 days. It’s not possible to do so.
So we wait. The mandate of the current president has expired.

And we have, in no uncertain terms, told the international observers to fuck off

Well, I do think you went much too far! Creating all of this election and court stuff just to prove to me Kenya is a country? 😀

That is what I like to call progress. If you have any progress left over we could sure use some here.
Best of wishes in the next election. 🙂

We will see if there is any left to share with you across the ocean. We want to share it with other African states first, so you will understand if you don’t get any.

Progress today is in short supply, I understand… We seem to have peaked in that area and are devolving backwards at a fast clip.
