Perfume: The story of a murderer is one of my all time favorites.
The being born scene is both interesting and disgusting. You almost feel the stench coming from the fish market. It is the one place in the whole of Paris that one wouldn’t want to be
So today, yours truly was at the fish market and brings you the very best of the market without the stench of course. You can all remove your fingers from your noses.
First, a video

Buying fish in Nbi has become a professional job, what with all the Chinese fish that I hear taste like boiled leather

In my younger days, some idiots said if you wanted to hide something from a Kenyan, put it in a book. Well, try me. Put some dollars
The whole story sounds a bit fishy 🙂

Nice job! Is the meshing to keep that face cool?

Couldn’t the govt have buried the electricity lines?

They could, but this is the cheapest way to distribute power. Underground cabling would only be possible where the utility company and local authority were led by people with brains so they create routes for services

Well, the building looks terrific. Well done. You’re now officially in the same book as Imhotep, your name preserved in history.

Thanks my friend but you exaggerate. Imhotep the grand vizier stands on his own with no rivals.

Great pics. Perfume is a fabulous film. It’s entirely based on smell and the scents permeate visually from it so powerfully it makes you want to wretch in parts. That’s damn good film making.

It was awesomely done. There is the place where Jean-Baptiste Grenouille takes a long bath by the river, smells himself and discovers he has no smell. The thing you find yourself doing is trying to feel if you have a scent. Great movie, it was.

Truly. I mean a MOVIE, a medium based purely on what you can see, that is able to so powerfully convey smell as such a powerful thing is something I never thought I’d see. It’s one of the most original, and effective films I’ve ever seen.

You are right. It was superbly done.

I hope that you didn’t spend all of your day at the fish market. The office building is interesting, especially with the modified power source. Enjoy your weekend! Naked hugs!

Economics is a pretty important influence on government and political philosophy, and we both live in parts of the world where it’s becoming hard to ignore. If more “civilized” countries were honest, they’d realize they have similar problems to other parts of the world.

Fresh fish smells good. Old fish smells really, really bad. The same can be said for people.

OLD people smell bad? I resent that! I give myself a spit-bath everyday and put on smelly lotion. The dogs haven’t complained … not one time!

Hahaha. Maybe the dogs have lost their sense of smell?
