Institutionalised religion is a tool for control. Not surprising there is a “slave bible”.

Hideous though, isn’t it. A sort of multiplier hypocrisy.

I like that choice of words – hideous – good one.

That link is fascinating. It’s always puzzled me why there is even one black Christian, or Native American christian for that matter. Celebrating the conquerors. Weird

It’s not too surprising. There were all methods of “deceit by omission” of the white religious slaveowners to coerce submission. Naked hugs!

Buttology. As in “Christians are a pain my arse; my butt; AND my sphincter!” Repetitive? Redundant? Yes. But also very, very true.

Yesterday the black blogger Harry Gaylord told me it was a black man that carried jesus’ cross. That’s why there are black Christians and Jesse Lee Petersens in the world. A lie on a lie.

Actually, those are three lies; the first lie being the claim there was a Jesus and the two build on the first one. How people tell themselves such things and believe them is beyond me

Disturbing but not at all surprising. Many of these evangelical Cristian groups would do the same today if they thought they could get away with it. Throughout history holy books have been used as chains to oppress their people.

Religionists will tell you they have used the same books to demand for better and those that use those books to justify misdeeds were not true believers

Given that Yahweh seems closer in character to TOOAIN, and given that there is no objective proof one way or the other, how can these religiots definitively prove their case one way or the other?
