How to know you are in a cult.

For those of you who read news, you might have heard or read about a serious locust invasion in Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia. The last time such a thing occurred in such magnitude was 70 years ago and as I told Modarnicus, those in higher echelons of power have just been talking. For example, here is the former cabinet secretary for agriculture telling Kenyans to take photos for verification.

With that introduction, we come to the juicy part of this post and it is supplied by Cedric who tweeted thus

and I wonder how he buttons his shirts! He is telling other sheep to worship not the imaginary god, but the mighty profit of the imaginary god. I think I should move to another country.

I hope to all that is unholy that this is satire.

I imagine this Cedric would be rather…spiny and sweaty (the latter due to his FERVOR!) I wonder if he gets a cut from the “Prophet’s” take? 10%?

I know, I know….his response will be always….REPENT. But since EVERYTHING is part of God’s Plan, maybe the locust invasion is a positive thing and it is a sin to pray for its end? Maybe CEDRIC and his PROPHET should be the one’s repenting.

(I hope this Cedric is NOT SERIOUS. I am surprised at the negative responses and criticism, though. That does say good things about your countrymen. Usually our religiots just egg the babblers on)

It does sound, from what I read, that if Cedric is serious, no one else is taking him seriously. If he isn’t, he plays a good game of make believe.

What country would you consider moving to? I hear Canada hasn’t had a three day darkness or a locust plague in centuries…

It is well known that the cheapest raw material from which one can make a profit is the stupidity of people.
