When your host goes hiking

I don’t remember the number of times I fell on my way down. Fortunately I wasn’t hurt. Note to self: get proper hiking shoes.

And at the summit, it rains without notice. And the views are spectacular from up there. This was my first high altitude hike. At the peak, we were at 3610m a.s.l. a total ascent of 1255m and 18km trek.

Have a restful Sunday everyone

Beautiful country Mak. Wish I was there.

I don’t hike much, but when I do, the first thing on my list of things to do is scrounge around for a good walking stick. Needs to be strong enough to support my weight and long enough I can pole vault a small ditch/puddle/etc. A walking stick is much like having a third leg in rough terrain.

Thank you for the nomination. I will answer the questions here.
      1. How do you feel about blogger awards nominations?
For those beginning to blog, I think they mean a lot. After you have been at it for long, not really.
      2. What has 2020 taught you so far? And the pandemic?
That we should be in essential businesses or marry into rich families. The pandemic- that things can go south very easily
      3. What inspires your writing?
I am not sure. Sometimes it is a quote i have read. Sometimes it is a book. Add sometimes it is just wild musings responding to the events of the day
      4. If you could change anything about your country, what would it be and why?
The citizens. They keep electing thieves and imbeciles to lead them and thereafter complain of poor governance
      5. If you had the attention of the world for a minute, what would you say?
We are all dying and there is no hell. Get your shit together
      6. Is there anything that scares you very much but you’d really (like?) to experience ?
      I don’t know.
      7. What’s the best quote you’ve ever read?
Can’t think of a specific one
