The photos are smashing but the name of the lake is somewhat disturbing.
What’s the history behind it?

I have been told there is a suicide almost weekly at that lake. The day I took that photo, a body had just come to shore

Oh, Suicide Lake gets its name cause the lake itself is always trying to commit suicide. Last week it tossed a plugged TV into itself hoping to get electrocuted, but, cause its a lake, that didn’t happen–only a few fish died. Poor fish.

Curious — it tends to look like it might be a bit humid. Yes? No?

It is actually very good weather. Cold and humid unlike coastal cities that are hot and humid.

Tea farms look lovely, even if I don’t really drink much tea!
Here in Northern California, sadly, we are having absolutely lovely weather for so late in the year. I say “sadly” because we (always) need rain. But still, 63 degrees and brilliant blue skies…I will take it for now.

Tea is supposed to be healthy. I should drink more! ๐ I will ask for Kenyan tea, although the tea snobs (just like wine snobs) all emphasize obscure Chinese tea varieties. ๐

You will be told to take hibiscus tea, ginger tea or some other variant. As for me, I swear by green tea
