I like the round building! ๐ But it is not made of mud and thatch! (I kid. I kid. I am so bad!)

Hahahahaha.
Next time I will look for mud, wattle and thatch houses. They are not as beautifully painted as those I have seen from SA

Ah.
I like the look of Nairobi. I know it’s just photos, but it seems to have the same relaxed ‘feeling’ as Brisbane, where i grew up.

It feels like people are always in a rush. Kisumu is much more relaxed

Your pictures show the contrast from city to village. I don’t know if it is from rich to poor.
But it seems whatever country we might visit, we would see things that make us wonder if we are in the same country.

Looks like it. There is high investment in the city than the village.
In Nairobi, or most towns here, this contrast of whether you are in the same city is with you almost all the time

You know what I notice about these? They’re pictures of your metropolitan area … but there are TREES! In our big cities, it’s all concrete.

The first three were taken in the CBD and the others less than 3km from the CBD. We are chopping down those trees fast!
