If you could be a character from a book or film, who would you be? Why?
But I can think of 2 characters that I identify with somewhat.
Ivan in brothers Karamazov or Roack (?) in the fountainhead. But I don’t want to be either of them. Though come to think of it, I may just want to be a combination of both of them.
Ivan’s inquisitive nature and his patience with his brother Alyosha is something admirable. He is also a story teller. And I love stories. In fact, I think we can change the world with the stories we tell.
In Narcissus and Goldmand I want to be both of the two friends at different times. Humility, courage, ambition, love, and wisdom even permeates their conversations.
As for the fountainhead. Man. The less said the better.
