It’s situations like these that make it blatantly obvious what a human story religion is. When uncertainty, suffering, and hopelessness mount. When your fate seems or is out of your control what is there left to do but get lost in a fantasy to distract you from the reality of your situation. It’s just escapism and is a well documented psychological phenomena.

I indeed hope that all their essential needs will be met. This is a tragedy that they are having to endure. However, we know that any faith is not the way to restore their basic necessities. Unfortunately, leadership in the USA is ignoring the situation there. They are too concerned with the content of the Mueller report! Naked hugs!

DAMN Washington Post! They won’t let me in. This has been going on for quite some time now … they keep wanting me to “subscribe” before they’ll allow me to read anything on their site. Apparently they have set limits to how many times you can access their page(s). SUCKS!

Anyone else experienced this? If so, do you have a workaround?

If gods actually showed up and helped in emergencies I’d do more to support them.

    Might even go to church.

Good thing it will never happen, I don’t care much for church.
